About Ballona Photography

The best part of photography is catching photos of the rich wildlife living in urban places. Understanding what constitutes "connection" and feeling intimacy of place is what motivates me. The intersection between and impacts of humans and wildlife existing in the same urban spaces is constantly evolving, sometimes consciously, sometimes with both sides oblivious of one another. Most days, you will find me out and about around the Ballona Wetlands (where I live) or other areas in Los Angeles capturing fleeting moments the wildlife share with me, so I can share them with you.

Who am I? I'm a third generation photographer. Capturing the perfect image of our wild neighbors is pure joy to me. I look forward to hearing from you and maybe even collaborating on related projects with you. Cheers!
